Your heart is about the size of your fist and weighs about as much as a softball.

3
In the course of a lifetime, the resting heart will have pumped enough blood to fill 13 supertankers.

Your heart is the strongest muscle of your body and beats about 100,000 times in one day, in an average adult.

Arthur Schopenhauer ( 22 February 1788 – 21 September 1860 )
Arthur Schopenhauer was a German philosopher known for his pessimism and philosophical clarity. At age 25, he published his doctoral dissertation, On the Fourfold Root of the Principle of Sufficient Reason, which examined the four separate manifestations of reason in the phenomenal world. Schopenhauer's most influential work, The World as Will and Representation, claimed that the world is fundamentally what humans recognize in themselves as their will.

The following are important reminders:
School hours are from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm.
Supervision is available from 7:30 am to 2:30 pm.
Our students’ safety is our top priority. Nonetheless, by not following instructions, two years ago although there was no major injury,a car hit a student in front of the school while crossing the street. Last year we were extremely close to having children and adults ran over not once but twice.
Car riders are picked up at assigned loops on the east and west sides of the school. Best time to drive into the school is somewhere after 2:10 pm especially the first two weeks of schools. Coming earlier means only that you will wait longer in line, waste expensive gasoline, and become frustrated with the traffic.
PLEASE DO NOT PARK YOUR CAR ACROSS ANY STREET TO COME AND PICK UP YOUR CHILD!
If you have designated your child as a “walker” he/she is not to be picked up on an automobile. “Walkers” are students that walk to and from the school.
We encourage all of our parents to become members of the various organizations that service our school. They are PTA, School Advisory Forum (SAF) and School Advisory Council (SAC). They are the best way of getting involved with funding for your children’s education (PTA), giving us ideas for academic improvement (SAC), and expressing your remarks about school happenings, processes, etc. (SAF). Coming to the school only when there is aproblem with your child only helps you and your child. We want to help all of the children and continue being the high-quality education institution that we are.
By visiting it at least twice a week you will be informed of everything that is happening in the school and will have access to academic links foradditional practice at home, classroom websites, and emails address to all of the administrators and teachers.
